Andrijana Subotić Pjajčik

About her

• fashion designer
• born in Vinkovci, Croatia, in 1973, astrological sign Aquarius
• graduated in 1999 from the Textile Technology Faculty in Zagreb, major: design and forms in textile and fashion clothing
• member of the Croatian Association of Artists of Applied Arts (ULUPUH)
• her interests include design interior on feng shui principle, martial arts, climbing, argentinian tango

HER WORK…

• since 1994 she participated in numerous fashion shows in Croatia and abroad, those in Australia, New Zealand and France stand up
• she took part in fashion exhibitions coperating with distinguished art galleries like Likum, members of the Croatian Association of Artists of Applied Arts (ULUPUH)
• she participated in a memorable fashion display which took part in the Archeological Museum in Zagreb
• she presented several author fashion shows
  
• in the last several years she took part in the highly acclaimed Fashion week Zagreb
• all of her fashion collections have been noticed and covered in the media on a regular basis
• she mastered her work in Italy and in Great Britain, London, as a British Council scholar

HER FASHION DESIGN…

• due to her family's long tradition in knitwear production, knitwear is the material used most often in her fashion items design.
• besides knitwear, she uses all sorts of different fabrics, the fabric being advanced by her own original colouring techniques and hand-made ornaments
• inspired by the colours and patterns, she creates completely new compositions by varying the rhythm and the colors
• her variations to the rhythm and the colors have outgrown the regional frame and have reached the point in which the creation addresses the universal understanding
• her fashion clothes each tell a story and bear a strong personality mark, just like herself

HER DESIGN STUDIO…

• since 2004 she creates and sells in her independant fashion design studio in Zagreb, Ilica 14
• she started her own label ETNA MAAR
• in her shop you can buy ETNA MAAR unique creations
• in her shop you can redesign your clothes, making a whole new fashion statement out of an old, favourite piece of clothing or get a style advice
